Warranty Questions

What is your Warranty Policy?

Laser Scientific warranties all products against manufacturing defects and workmanship. We do not assume responsibility for failure caused by: improper maintenance, damaged or dirty optics, mishandling or misuse of the products, mishandling or misuse of the handpiece or any obstruction of the laser beam path through the fiber. All warranty claim items must be sent in for evaluation and approval prior to a replacement being issued. Laser Scientific warranties service and repairs related to material and workmanship. 

What is the warranty on LS Fiber Optics?

Laser Scientific warranties against manufacturing defects. All fiber optics are assembled and tested at our facility in Texas.


Failed fibers must be returned to Laser Scientific for warranty consideration. All returned fibers must include the original Laser Scientific serial number label fully intact as originally affixed. Any serial number labels which have been damaged, removed, or reattached will not qualify for a warranty replacement.

How do I determine if a failed component is covered under warranty?

Please contact us directly for any questions or concerns regarding our warranty policies. There are a number of factors considered when completing a warranty evaluation.

What is your return policy?

All returns must be sent in for evaluation prior to being approved for refund. Laser Scientific charges a restocking fee for returned products of 15-25%. This fee simply attempts to recover our costs. For laser optics we have a 'no return' policy. This includes lenses, fiber optics, windows, and some other products.
